Analysis of the acoustic characteristics of truck cabins.

A case study of modeling the vehicle body structure and the acoustic space inside the cabin, followed by coupled frequency response analysis.

We would like to introduce our analysis of "Cabin Acoustic Characteristics of Tracks Using Acoustic Coupled Analysis Function." In recent years, considering low-noise environments has become very important. It is effective to use finite element method analysis to understand the acoustic characteristics of the cabin at the design stage and to reduce noise transmission to the driver through structural considerations. In this case study, we utilized the NX Nastran structural-acoustic coupled analysis function to model the vehicle body structure and the acoustic space within the cabin, conducting a coupled frequency response analysis to determine the acoustic transmission characteristics from the body mount points to the driver's ear position. 【Case Overview】 ■ Function Used: NX Nastran Structural-Acoustic Coupled Analysis Function ■ Analysis Content - Model the vehicle body structure and the acoustic space within the cabin - Conduct coupled frequency response analysis - Determine the acoustic transmission characteristics from the body mount points to the driver's ear position *Detailed information about the case can be viewed through the related links. For more details, please feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Thermal Fluid Analysis of a Muffler

Introducing thermal fluid analysis that combines "Femap Thermal" and "Femap Flow"!

We would like to introduce the "Thermal Fluid Analysis of Mufflers" conducted by our company. By combining "Femap Thermal" and "Femap Flow," we calculated the flow of exhaust gases within the muffler and the temperature distribution of the muffler due to high-temperature exhaust. We performed thermal fluid analysis targeting the muffler, determining the temperature difference of exhaust gases at the inlet and outlet, the flow of exhaust gases within the muffler, and the temperature of the surface of the muffler structure, confirming that we could obtain the parameters necessary for design. 【Case Overview】 ■ Products Used ・Femap Thermal ・Femap Flow ■ Analysis Content ・Thermal fluid analysis targeting the muffler *Detailed information about the case can be viewed through the related links. For more information, please feel free to contact us.

Notice of the "Pre-Test Planning" Seminar

With Simcenter 3D, it is possible to optimize the position and number of sensors/measurement points and excitation points during modal testing.

We will hold a WEB seminar titled "Pre-Test Planning with Simcenter 3D." "Is there a way to conduct pre-test planning more efficiently before performing modal testing, ensuring that the target vibration modes are obtained and that high-precision modal tests can be conducted using only the minimum necessary exciters and sensors?" Simcenter 3D FE Model Correlation addresses such requests from experimental analysis engineers. Simcenter 3D FE Model Correlation offers excellent features for efficiently conducting pre-test planning, allowing for the optimization of the positions and numbers of sensors/measurement points and excitation points during modal testing. ▼ For details and registration, click here ▼ https://www.cae-nst.co.jp/seminar/201223/ 【Event Overview】 ■ Date: January 15, 2025 (Wednesday) ■ Time: 14:00 - 14:30 ■ Location: Online ■ Cost: Free (Pre-registration required) ■ Capacity: Unlimited *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
